First time here. Here is what happens, in the order it happens. Anything not yet settled is flagged as such: we would rather say so than invent it.

Before you leave
The currency is the dirham
Every casino operation is in Moroccan dirham: buy-ins, cage, packages, payouts. Euro prices on this site are an estimate, never an operation. The rate used here is 10.64 MAD to 1 €.
Sleeping on site changes everything
The Palace and the Hotel Es Saadi are in the same resort as the room: no commute between your bed and your table, at two in the morning as at noon. Packages bundle the nights and the buy-ins into one booking.

On arrival at the casino
The casino card
A membership card is required to enter the gaming room. The exact procedure will be detailed here. In the meantime, the casino reception will tell you.
Papers and age
An identity document is required, and entry is for adults only. The list of documents accepted for a foreign player will be detailed here.
Dress code
Smart dress is expected in the gaming room.
Opening hours
Cash game every day from 18:00 to 08:00. Classic tables from 17:00 to 07:00. Slots from 14:00 to 07:00. During the festival, tournament starts follow the schedule, between 12:00 and 21:30.

Entering a tournament
At the cage, or in advance
Registration is done at the casino cage, before the start or during late registration. If you took a package, your buy-ins are already paid.
Late reg, in plain words
Every event shows “late reg - lev. 10”: you can still enter until the end of level 10. The later you enter, the shorter your stack against the field. A level lasts what the line says: 15, 20, 30 or 60 minutes.
The dealer bonus
“3 000 / 100 MAD” means: for 100 dirhams added to the buy-in, you get 3,000 extra tournament chips on top of the starting stack. That extra goes entirely to the dealers. It is optional, and almost everyone takes it.
Starting flights
A big event has several starts, labelled 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D. You pick yours. Survivors of each flight meet on Day 2, then at the final. A “Turbo” flight has shorter levels: it moves fast.

The vocabulary of the lines
- Buy-in
- The entry price of the event, in dirhams.
- Stack
- The chips you get when you sit down. 50,000 is a deep stack, 15,000 a short one.
- Level
- How long the blinds stay put. The longer the level, the more the event lets you play.
- Late reg
- The last level at which you can still enter.
- Add-on
- Extra chips, bought at a set point in the event.
- Bounty
- A bounty on every player's head: you knock out, you cash in.
- Satellite
- A small event whose prize is a seat in a big one.
- Day 2
- The restart, the next day, with the stack you left. You do not enter it, you come back to it.
