The rules
How it is played
Once all players have placed their bets, each box receives two cards. The dealer receives one card face up. In the order given, each box holder may now ask for as many cards as they wish until they feel close enough to 21. Players exceeding a value of 21 with their cards have their stake and their cards collected by the dealer. When the last card holder declines to ask for another card ("Stay" or "No"), the dealer draws a second card. If they have obtained 16 points or less, they must draw another. From 17 points onwards, they are no longer allowed to draw a new card. If the dealer exceeds 21 points, all players still in the game automatically win. Otherwise, only players whose point total is closer to 21 than the dealer's win. When the player and the dealer are tied, the player keeps their stake.
Black Jack The aim is to obtain a value of 21 with the first two cards (e.g. ace and king). Black Jack beats all other card combinations.
