How it is played
Roulette has its origins in 17th century France, when the mathematician Blaise Pascal (1623-1662) invented a primitive version of the game which has since become a real success in casinos everywhere. However, the casino game similar to today's game appeared around 150 years later, at the end of the 18th century, when two "pockets" for the bank (zero 0 and double zero 00) were already provided, which practically represented the casino's edge over the players.
