Roulette
The rules: Roulette
The wheel has 37 pockets, 0 to 36: eighteen red, eighteen black and the green zero. The croupier spins the ball, and every bet placed before "no more bets" stands. Inside bets go on the numbers: straight up (one number, pays 35 to 1), split (two numbers, 17 to 1), street (three numbers, 11 to 1), corner (four numbers, 8 to 1), six line (six numbers, 5 to 1). Outside bets cover groups: red or black, odd or even, low (1 to 18) or high (19 to 36), paid even money; dozens and columns, twelve numbers, paid 2 to 1. When zero comes up, only bets on zero win. The coloured chips you receive at the table are only worth something at that table: exchange them before you leave. Minimum and maximum bets are posted on every table.
