The rules: Slot machines
You load the machine with cash or a ticket, which gives you credits. Each spin bets a number of credits on one or more lines; the button spins the reels, and a winning combination lined up on a played line is paid according to the machine's pay table.
The result of every spin is drawn at random by the machine, independently of previous spins: a machine that has not paid for a while is not "due". Denominations run from the smallest to the largest; some machines carry a jackpot, sometimes progressive, which grows with the bets.
You cash out by requesting a ticket, exchanged at the cashier. Electronic roulette follows the rules of classic roulette, with a real or virtual ball and bets placed on a screen.
